⬇️ P.S. — Christians must ‘pray and prepare’ over push for global governance: experts (Pray-Vote-Stand Summit)

Penny and I had the privilege of attending the Pray-Vote-Stand Summit hosted by the Family Research Council last week. I plan to share links to some of the inspiring speakers and panels next week. This conference was truly exceptional. Faithful Americans from across the nation gathered. It's clear that everything begins and thrives through prayer. We must remain active in the political arena by voting and engaging in various ways. It's crucial that we stand firm in our faith, advocating for the American people with resolve.

America’s “First Freedom”—religious freedom is the source of all American freedoms

Religious freedom is the source of all American freedoms.

Every American, regardless of their faith—or even without one—has the fundamental right to live by their conscience.

Nearly 250 years ago, our Founding Fathers understood Religious Freedom as the “First Freedom” in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

This right is the bedrock of all freedoms; if it falters, all other liberties are at risk. Defending religious freedom means safeguarding the future of all our freedoms.

First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

We can draw on America's founding prayers, covenants, documents, and early experiences as "prayer architecture" for today. Adapt the prayer language below to your Prayer Voice as the Holy Spirit guides.

⭐️ Father God, you are the one who is ultimately free—our freedom comes from you. We thank you for Religious Freedom in America, and wherever it is found in the world.

⭐️ Give us perception to be prayerful “watchmen” over this issue.

⭐️ We thank you for wisdom and skill for attorneys who preserve Religious Freedom.

⭐️ Holy Spirit, would you empower church leaders in their resolve to use their freedom in preaching, teaching, and leading in ministry.

Father, we believe in our heart that we have received, and we count it done in faith. We are grateful. Amen—may it be established.

Current prayer focus

🦅 Steadfastly pray that God will sway the judgment of the American body politic and that his design will be realized on American soil as it is in heaven.

🦅 Pray for the integrity of national, state, and local elections. Insist in faith that the election will occur this fall and that nothing will stop it. Pray over the aftermath of the election. Rise in faith against political violence.
