"Breakthrough prayer in the battle for America and our world" initiative
A powerful three-week initiative launched last Sunday, September 22, marked by a three-hour Global Day of Prayer. Titled "Breakthrough Prayer in the Battle for America and Our World," this movement calls intercessors to seek God's intervention in the face of existential threats to nations worldwide. As E.M. Bounds said, "Prayer can do anything that God can do!"

Alexis de Tocqueville: religious foundations produced democracy in America

In 1831, Alexis de Tocqueville (1805-1859) came to the United States. He was commissioned by the French government to explore the prison system but ended up with way more than just notes on prisons.
He turned his observations into Democracy in America (1835), one of the most impactful books of the 19th century. With sharp takes on equality and individualism, Tocqueville’s work still helps Europeans make sense of America—and gives Americans a look at themselves, too.
Tocqueville kicks off Democracy in America with a reminder that’s easy to overlook today: the freedom we value so much is built on religious foundations. In fact, modern democracy wouldn’t exist without the influence of Christianity on the Western world.

⭐️ Father, we ask for a revial of Christian faith in America. Holy Spirit, convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16.8).
⭐️ “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do” (Psalm 11.3 ESV). Holy Spirit, help us to align with you. Empower us to “build up the ancient ruins” and “raise up the former devastations” (Isaiah 61.4 ESV).
⭐️ Supreme Judge of the world, remove lukewarmness and apostasy from American pulpits. Release the true Word of the Lord in American churches.
Father, we believe in our heart that we have received, and we count it done in faith. We are grateful. Amen — may it be established.

🦅 Father, we call on your protection over all political candidates, especially former President Trump, because of the 2 assassination attempts on his life this political season.
🦅 Pray for the integrity of national, state, and local elections. Insist in faith that the election will occur this fall and that nothing will stop it. Pray over the aftermath of the election. Rise in faith against political violence.
🦅 Steadfastly pray that God will sway the judgment of the American body politic and that his design will be realized on American soil as it is in heaven.

Join forces with fellow believers this fall to resist the evil one's plans and protect our nation and the global Body of Christ from his agenda. Register ASAP at the links provided!
Through October 12: 21 Days of focused intercession with full or partial fasting is encouraged using the 21 Days Prayer Guide to unite us in Matthew 18:19 agreement.
This process of united, global intercession will conclude on-site in Washington, D.C., with both the National Prayer Assembly, October 10-11 and the Million Women gathering, which is being held on October 12, the Day of Atonement. It will be a massive and glorious calling out to God, who has promised to hear, forgive, and heal our land when His people come together in desperation for His deliverance (2 Chron. 7:14).
There is still room to register! To take part, please register ASAP for both the NPA and the Million Women gathering by clicking the links. If you want to come from overseas, you are also warmly welcomed.
Please note that the venue for the National Prayer Assembly, Oct. 10-11, has changed and will now be held at the beautiful National Housing Center, 1201 15th Street NW in Washington, D.C. Information on hotel accommodations can be found at your favorite travel websites.
