Kingdom Friend,

Thank you for agreeing in prayer! This week … we pray for the reality of “E Pluribus Unum” in America: “Out of many, one.”

Americans are voting. We are in vital days leading to November 5. Would you pray over this newsletter for 5 minutes each day over the next 7 days?

⚠️ Pray that the federal election would be decisive and conclusive on election day, Novermber 5.

My (Brian) prayer for you … "A spirit of justice for him who sits in judgment, a strength to those who repel the onslaught (lit., battle) at the gate" (Isaiah 28.6 NASB).

Charles Thomson's design for the Great Seal of the United States, 1782. National Archives.

From the early days of America, "E Pluribus Unum" served as the de facto motto of the United States. (In 1956, Congress passed a law adopting "In God We Trust" as the official motto.)

Just hours after the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4, 1776, a committee was formed to design the official seal of the United States. The design went through several revisions, and on June 20, 1782, the Continental Congress officially adopted the Great Seal of the United States. “E Pluribus Unum” is featured on the Great Seal.

The Latin phrase is literally translated, “Out of many, one.”

We can draw on America's founding prayers, covenants, documents, and early experiences as "prayer architecture" for today. Adapt the prayer language below to your Prayer Voice as the Holy Spirit guides.

⭐️ Father, we lift up our nation to You, asking for unity and coherence across America. Bring us together as one people.

⭐️ As a nation founded on legal immigration, we pray for a renewed commitment to our country’s core principles and DNA.

⭐️ We ask that You guide those who come to America, drawing individuals who embrace and honor the sovereign, foundational ideals that make our nation strong.

⭐️ Lord, in Your wisdom, we pray that You would remove those who seek to undermine or change our country’s founding principles. Bring forth leaders and citizens who uphold the vision, values, and covenants upon which America was built.

Father, we believe in our heart that we have received, and we count it done in faith. We are grateful. Amen—may it be established.

🦅 Pray that the federal election would be decisive and conclusive on election day, Novermber 5.

🦅 Pray for the integrity of national, state, and local elections. Insist in faith that the election will occur this fall and that nothing will stop it. Pray over the aftermath of the election. Rise in faith against political violence.
